Raising a Grazing Pig

Raising pasture grazing pigs has been so rewarding. I love watching them eat the grass, playing in the pond, and exploring everything.

Kunekunes are originally from New Zealand. They are grazing pigs and do not root like a traditional pigs. They are smaller than the average farm pig which makes them great for homesteading, hobby farmers and pets. They are friendlier than other breeds since they were raised living with the families and people of New Zealand.
