Scarlet was born 04/19/19, she was the first pick of the litter and went to her first home at 6 weeks old with the name of Penny. She came back to Halbert Farm a few months later because her new family could no longer take care of her and was quickly re-homed with Dorothy as a pair who was born 6/13/2019. The two bonded with their fellow miniature donkeys and lived the life of luxury in a beautiful barn with other pet farm animals. Unfortunately, the new home had a crazy HOA that allowed horses, cows, donkeys, goats, and every other type of farm animal except sweet kunekune pigs. After a long battle with neighbors their new family asked if they could come back to Halbert Farm. We welcomed them back with open arms on November 17, 2020 the same day Panda had her Grand Canyon litter. It was a very hectic day. Scarlet and Dorothy will get to live together here for the rest of their days. We are super excited to have them both back in the Halbert Herd.
