That's right there are now 3 Kunekune Registries. AKKPS, IKHR, and IKKPS. I've made a quick table of the differences. We used to dual register all our pigs with IKHR and AKKPS. When the IKHR required 2 wattles to register we stuck with them since it was more affordable than AKKPS. This year AKKPS has increased their yearly membership fee but now all registration fees are free. There is also a brand new 3rd registry, that broke off from AKKPS and now has multiple tiers of membership. This year IKHR also made a change that we can no longer use microchips. It will be interesting to see which registry breeders pick.
